The flexible plastic floor covering comprises an electrically conductive or antistatic foam layer made of polyolefin, PVC or polyurethane, and an electrically conductive or antistatic wear layer. The foam layer is based on a physically or chemically crosslinked foam having a bulk density of 25-350 g/l. The floor covering has a total thickness of 2.5-6 mm. The wear layer has a thickness of 1-2 mm. The plastic floor covering further comprises an adhesive layer arranged between the foam layer and the wear layer. An independent claim is included for a method for producing a flexible plastic floor covering.
