PURPOSE: An auction system is provided to manage popularity of an auction service by providing a bonus with a fixed rate to an unsuccessful bidder. CONSTITUTION: A main control module (31) stands by until multiple bidders carrying a user terminal (10) gain access through a communications network and place a bid. The main control module receives payment of an entrance fee with a fixed rate from each user terminal. A balance module (32) refunds the entrance fee to a subordinated user terminal chosen as an unsuccessful bidder according to the selection of successful bidders. The balance module receives payment of a winning bid from a successful bidder and provides fixed reward money. The user terminal is composed of a first user terminal (10-1) through an nth user terminal (10-n).
