PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and an inkjet recording method, capable of recording a high quality image at a high speed.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device 1 ejects ink from an inkjet head 2 onto a recording surface of a recording medium P to record an image, and includes a recording medium feeder 4 for conveying the recording medium P and a recording medium discharging unit 5 for discharging the recording medium P. The recording medium discharging unit 5 includes a discharge roller 51 arranged at the opposite side of the recording surface of the recording medium P and a driven roller 52 of a cylindrical shape disposed opposite the discharge roller 51 at the recording surface side of the recording medium P. The driven roller 52 has a porous layer having a plurality of hole parts at least on a surface thereof. The ink includes polyolefin resin emulsion.
