PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition capable of improving fuel consumption, mechanical strength and abrasion resistance in good valance, and to provide a pneumatic tire using the same.SOLUTION: A rubber composition contains a diene copolymer obtained by modifying the terminals of a copolymer of a conjugated diene and a vinyl silane having at least one silicon-bonded amino group, with a compound selected from an aminoalkyl (meth)acrylate, hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate, aminoalkyl (meth)acrylamide and hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylamide, an isoprene rubber, a filler and a compound represented by formula (1) and/or formula (2). A pneumatic tire comprises the composition. [In formula (1), p is an integer of 2-8, and in formula (2), q is an integer of 2-8; Mis a metal ion; and r is a valence thereof]. |
