PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of preventing generation of a memory effect even when a secondary cell for supplying electric power to a reception section while the electronic apparatus is on standby is rapidly charged while the electronic apparatus is operating.SOLUTION: A power supply unit 10 supplies electric power supplied from a commercial power supply to an image formation section 21 and a reception section 24 while a processing section 20 is operating, and supplies electric power of a secondary cell 30 to the reception section 24 while the processing section 20 is on standby. A power supply control section 13 of the power supply unit 10, upon determining that a voltage of the secondary cell 30 is not more than a predetermined threshold voltage while the processing section 20 is operating, executes pulse charging by electric power supplied from the commercial power supply. The threshold voltage is updated to be low value each time the execution frequency of pulse charging increases. |
