PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply image processing suitable for photographs on a document to be a copy source when the document is a photograph by using an image forming apparatus including a plurality of printing devices having different printing methods from each other, and easily reprint the photograph by using a printing device suitable for printing photographs.SOLUTION: A control unit 5 determines as to whether or not to perform image processing for photographs on image data read by an image input device 1. If the control unit 5 determines to perform image processing for photographs, an image processing unit 2 applies image processing appropriate to characteristics of a second image output device 4 that is suitable for printing photographs on the image data, and outputs the processed data to the second image output device.
