Provided is a mobile terminal including a body unit providing a display unit; and a power unit supplying electric power to operate the display unit, wherein the power unit is mounted on one side of the body unit in a form such that the power unit extends in a direction parallel to a longitudinal direction of the side of the body unit, and allows for the center of gravity of the body unit to be eccentric toward the side of the body unit. According to such a configuration, a design freedom may be improved and a diversity of usage may be obtained.
