摘要 <p>The present invention provides a catalyst for carbon nanotube production enabling continuous mass production of carbon nanotubes in which fiber length is long and conductivity is excellent. This catalyst for carbon nanotube production has the following: carrier particles comprising metallic oxide and having pores therein; and a metal catalyst supported by the carrier particles. In the micropore distribution curve of the carrier particles obtained by a mercury press-in method, when the integrated value of the volume of micropores having a micropore diameter of 0.1mum or greater is the volume of pores of the carrier particles per unit mass, the volume of pores is within the range of 0.6-2.2 cm3/g.</p>
