PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a "navigation device with an improved rerouting function", when a driver consciously runs off a guide route during running on the guide route, capable of forcibly turning off the rerouting function for returning to an original guide route or executing a re-routing function again, as necessary.SOLUTION: The navigation device with the improved rerouting function includes: a rerouting operation unit that, when departing from a guide route, calculates a new guide route for a destination; a guide route departure detecting unit that detects the departure from the guide route; a rerouting-off button display unit that, when the guide route departure detecting unit detects the departure from the guide route, displays a rerouting-off button instructing the rerouting operation unit not to perform the calculation; and a rerouting-on button display unit, when the rerouting is turned off by depressing the rerouting-off button, displays a rerouting-on button for performing the rerouting. The rerouting-off button may be displayed after performing the rerouting a predetermined number of times or may be immediately displayed. |
