PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game device equipped with a user interface which has an easily understandable operation method, and which can appropriately reflect operation skill in the control of the movement direction of an object.SOLUTION: When a user touches a card 110As and executes a pull-back operation changing the operation position, a reference direction &phgr; being parallel and in the reverse direction to the direction of the pull-back operation is detected. During the pull-back operation, a pendulum 123 is displayed which swings within the same range 127 on both sides of a border-forming central line Le, which is parallel to the reference direction.
