PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw measuring apparatus in which screw diameters of a nut and a shank of a ball screw can be measured easily and accurately, and a measuring method thereof.SOLUTION: A ball screw measuring apparatus comprises a support base 11 which is provided rotatable for supporting an object Wn to be inspected comprised of a shank or a nut of a ball screw coaxially with the rotation axial center thereof, a movable body 19 which is provided so as to be movable along an axial direction of the rotation axial center of the support base 11 with respect to the object Wn to be inspected which is supported on the support base 11, and a gauge 14 which is provided in the movable body 19 to be movable in such a manner that the distal end thereof is in a direction vertical to the rotation axial center, and abutted to a thread groove of the object to be inspected. The distal end of a gauge body 26 of the gauge 14 is abutted to a thread groove Wna of the object Wn to be inspected by applying a measuring pressure thereto, the support base 11 is rotated, and a displacement amount of the gauge body 26 is measured by a measuring instrument 6. |
