PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of preventing an illuminating device to be uselessly turned on.SOLUTION: A power tool includes a power source for driving the tool, a main switch for operating the power source when turned on and stopping the power source when turned off, an illuminating device for illuminating a portion to be worked by the tool, and an illumination selector switch capable of changing over between at least a first illumination mode and a second illumination mode. When the first illumination mode is selected, the illuminating device is turned on for a first predetermined time from a time point when the main switch is turned off. When the second illumination mode is selected, the illuminating device is not turned on for the first predetermined time from a time point when the main switch is turned off. |
