PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a laminated metal foil, which can easily and accurately resistance-weld a laminated metal foil and secure a sufficient nugget (alloy layer) surface for resistance welding.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a laminated metal foil 1 includes: a first step of making a linear notch 3 in a plane view penetrating along a lamination direction S in a welding part A of laminated metal foils 2 using a cutter C whose longitudinal section is a substantially V shape to closely contact mutual metal foils 2 at a linear notch end 3a in the lamination direction S; and a second step of pressure-welding an electrode E for resistance welding on the welding part A and energizing the welding part A through the electrode E to resistance-weld the laminated metal foil 1.
