摘要 <p>The method involves producing heat wave with adjustable phase angle of inclination in a test specimen, so that the heat wave is optionally interacted with vertical or horizontal structures and defects. The detection of structures and defects is carried out at test surface through planar detection of heat wave by an infrared camera or thermal reflectance. The amplitude and phase measurement value relative to a pictorial conditioned reference signal is detected based on location-dependent temperature oscillations. The method involves changing the heat energy of a test surface by using time-modulated radiation energy, so that heat waves are generated in a test specimen. The excitation energy is applied by periodical stripes, such that the distance and speed of stripes are adjusted on the test surface. An independent claim is included for a non-destructive and non-contact testing device for testing surface defects in material.</p>
