<p>An imaging device includes: an optical filter (FLT) for dividing a pupil of an imaging optical system into a first pupil and a second pupil; an imaging element having first through third color filters with first through third transmittance characteristics; a multi-band estimation unit for estimating component values {bR, bL, g, rR, rL} of first through fifth bands corresponding to overlapping portions and non-overlapping portions of the first through third transmittance characteristics on the basis of pixel values of first through third colors; and a focus control unit for acquiring the component value of a band corresponding to a transmitted wavelength band of the first pupil as a first subject image (IR), acquiring the component value of a band corresponding to the transmitted wavelength band of the second pupil as a second subject image (IL), detecting a phase difference of the first and second subject images (IR, IL), and controlling focusing of the imaging optical system on the basis of the phase difference.</p> |
