PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate and provide the total sum of consumption taxes in an arbitrary period paid by a customer from the sales data of each customer totaled by store units in response to a request from the customer.SOLUTION: The merchandise sales data processing system includes: sales data registration means for registering sales data including a customer code and the consumption tax sum or the like for each commercial transaction; data processing means for collecting and processing sales data from the sales data registration means; sales data accumulation means for accumulating and storing the sales data collected by the data processing means; customer information input means for inputting customer information such as the customer code and a specified period; and consumption tax output means for totaling and outputting the total sum of the consumption tax sum paid by the customer whose customer code has been input by the customer information input means in the specified period. |
