PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system, when there is no image forming apparatus matching all requirements of a user, capable of improving convenience of the user.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 5 includes a retrieval request part 33 that designates a plurality of requirements for an image forming apparatus along with priority conditions and transmits the designated requirements and the priority conditions to a management server 7. The management server 7 includes: a first retrieval part 47 that retrieves image forming apparatuses matching all the received requirements; a second retrieval part 49 that, when there is no image forming apparatus matching all the requirements, retrieves image forming apparatuses matching partial requirements according to the priority conditions; and a notification part 51 that notifies the portable terminal 5 of position information of the image forming apparatuses retrieved by the first and second retrieval parts 47, 49. |
