The fuel injection system has multiple sensors (11) which are received in the injectors (10) and are electrically connected with a controller (50) over multiple circuits which have multiple output lines (LS). Each sensor is formed to output a signal to the controller over one of the output lines, where the signal indicates a measured level of a parameter which stands in correlation with a fuel injection characteristic of a one of multiple injectors. An issuing unit is provided for issuing the determining target information of communication data for each injector in one of output lines.
