<p>The processing station comprises an intermediate frame (13), which is moved in the spatial directions, with which a clamping frame (21) supporting the body component (1) is clamped in a preassembly position. The clamping frame is moved from the preassembly position to the joining position with the help of intermediate frame. A handling unit (31), particularly an industrial robot is provided, with which the clamping frame supporting the body component is adjusted in the preassembly position. An independent claim is included for a method for joining a body component to a vehicle body by a processing station.</p> |
