The invention provides a thermal electromagnetic type overcurrent tripping device, and also provides a circuit breaker which is suitable for automatically assembling and has a high breaking capacity. The circuit breaker comprises: a switch mechanism; an overcurrent tripping device; a moveable contact member, which is arranged on a cross bar which can linkedly rotate with the switch mechanism; a circuit breaking part, which is accepted in a base and comprises an arc-suppression device for breaking arc; and a cover part, which covers a medium base, the base and each component accepted in the medium base. In the medium base, on a plane orthogonal to a direction in which the medium base is inserted into the base, a first hole is arranged in a manner relative to the circuit breaking part, a yoke part is covered on the first hole and then fixes the overcurrent tripping device, the cover part comprises extrusion arrangement part for limiting the overcurrent tripping devices of the poles without the switch mechanism, and an insulation component is configured between the switch mechanism and the overcurrent tripping device. |
