PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for filling in a bone defect, capable of reducing pain and any sense of discomfort and also promoting short-term bone repair.SOLUTION: There is provided a material for filling in a bone defect, wherein the material is filled in a bone defect formed between fracture sites in living bone and imparts to the fracture sites a pressing force in the direction in which the living bone extends from the defect. There is also provided a material for filling in a bone defect as set forth in claim 1, wherein the material is laid across the bone defect as a predetermined length and continuously imparts the pressing force to the fracture sites. |
