PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that facilitates mitigating effects of asynchronous behavior when transmitting a data signal.SOLUTION: An appropriate time-shifting mechanism is selectively appended to a data signal in order to rectify negative effects of asynchronous time behavior during a logical data burst. The length of a time offset created by the asynchronous behavior is determined. A cyclic prefix is appended to the beginning and/or end of signals. A receiving mobile terminal can employ a signal processing procedure (e.g., FFT) to all portions of a received signal.
