PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrating method for processing raw and processed digital images.SOLUTION: Digital image data is received (310) and it is determined whether the data is raw or preprocessed (312). When the digital image data is raw, corrections on the raw image data are received, a sensor profile and an output profile are applied to the data so as to generate digital image data in output adaptive format, and the digital image data in output adaptive format is output. When the digital image data is preprocessed, a sensor profile (or its proxy) applied to the processed image data is received, the preprocessed image data is converted into linear image data using the sensor profile, corrections on the linear image data are received, and the sensor profile or output profile is applied so as to generate digital image data in output adaptive format, thereby outputting the digital image data in output adaptive format. |
