PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device of an internal combustion engine, capable of reducing a torque step at switching between compression self-ignition combustion and spark ignition combustion.SOLUTION: A combustion control device of an internal combustion engine, which can switch between spark ignition combustion and compression self-ignition combustion by an internal EGR gas, includes a control means 11 for controlling at least any of an intake pressure, an in-cylinder pressure, and an intake area into a cylinder, so as to temporarily reduce an intake amount, when either one of the compression self-ignition combustion or the spark ignition combustion is switched from the other. |
