PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for a flexographic printing plate that can give a cured film having a low Tg, excellent water resistance and solvent resistance, and excellent printing durability, a laser-engraving type flexographic printing plate precursor employing the resin composition for a flexographic printing plate and a process for producing the same, a process for making a flexographic printing plate employing the printing plate precursor, and a flexographic printing plate obtained thereby.SOLUTION: A resin composition for a flexographic printing plate comprises: (component A) a binder resin; and (component B) a compound represented by formula (1) or formula (2), wherein the component B is contained at 1 to 50 pts.mass relative to 100 pts.mass of the component A. In formula (1) and formula (2), Rand Rindependently denote a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, Rand Rindependently denote a divalent organic group having 1 to 20 carbons, and Rand Rindependently denote a monovalent organic group having 1 to 20 carbons, Rand Rdoes not comprise an ethylenically unsaturated group, a dialkoxysilyl group, or a trialkoxysilyl group. |
