The method involves providing a metal strip (9) on a coil (2). The strip is conveyed to a roll molding tool and subjected to forming process in the tool. The formed strip is conveyed into a roll embossing tool that comprises an embossing roller (11) and a counter support roller (12), where circumference of the rollers corresponds to single length or multi-length of a structure component (14) of a motor car such that the strip passes in the embossing tool up to the length of the component during rotation of the rollers. The manufactured component is isolated. An independent claim is also included for a device arrangement for manufacturing a motor car structure component.
