A chip contact mechanism (2) of a developer cartridge comprises a chip seat (4) movably provided on the developer cartridge and a lever (3) for enabling the chip seat (4) to move, the chip seat (4) having a chip mounting position (41) and a reset part (5) being disposed between the chip seat (4) and a cartridge body (1). The present invention further provides a developer cartridge having the chip contact mechanism (2).
