PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology that permits to bring a light emission luminance of a light-emitting device closer to a target value more accurately.SOLUTION: A first aspect of the present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device that has an independently emission light-controllable light emitting device provided with a plurality of light sources. The display device is configured to include: a luminance sensor that measures a light emission luminance of a light emitting device for a block for each block to be obtained by dividing an area of an image based on input image data; a temperature sensor that measures a temperature of the light emitting device for the block for each block; acquisition means that acquires a measurement value of the temperature sensor for each block; and light emission luminance control means that acquires a measurement value of the luminance sensor in order from a block having a larger difference between a temperature represented by the measurement value acquired by the acquisition means and a temperature represented by the measurement value acquired in the past by the acquisition means and controls the light emission luminance of the light emitting device based on the measurement value of the luminance sensor. |
