PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for stably and efficiently performing a cutting operation from the inside of a relatively large underground structure.SOLUTION: The underground structure cutting device includes: a rail 10 laid in a longitudinal direction L of a box-shaped underground structure 100; a device body 20 configured to horizontally move on the rail 10; and a rotary blade 30 configured to extend from the device body 20. The rotary blade 30 is configured to move while freely oscillating with the device body 20 as a center, and to be freely expandable on an oscillation surface such that a portion 101 having a predetermined depth H1 from the upper end of the underground structure 100 can be cut from an inner surface by the rotary blade 30. |
