PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus, an imaging control program and an imaging method, capable of imaging a focused specimen image in a short time required for imaging.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes an imaging area setting unit, a focus position detection unit, a focus position determination unit and an imaging control unit. The imaging area setting unit sets a plurality of imaging areas in an imaging range including a specimen. The focus position detection unit detects a focus position for each imaging area. The focus position determination unit estimates a focus position of an imaging area where the focus position has not been detected by the focus position detection unit, by using focus positions of a peripheral imaging area where the focus positions have been detected by the focus position detection unit. The imaging control unit images an imaging area by using the focus position detected by the focus position determination unit. |
