PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bending a metal plate lowering the forming load.SOLUTION: In a method for bending a metal plate 2, the metal plate 2 placed on a die 3 is bent along a predetermined bending line (bending line L) by pressing. Also, the method includes a preliminary bending step of pressing the metal plate 2 while shifting the press position from the press position in the final bending step and bending the metal plate 2 along a bending line (bending line L1, L2 and the like) different from the predetermined bending line (bending line L) prior to the final bending step of bending the metal plate 2 along the predetermined bending line (bending line L). As a result, the pushing amount (the stroke amount of a punch 4 after contacting the metal plate 2) in the final bending step can be reduced, and the forming load can be lowered. |
