摘要 <p>In the present invention, a turbo charger is provided with a turbine rotor in which a turbine wheel and a shaft are joined by a brazed material, wherein the purpose of the present invention is to reduce the amount of exhaust gas that escapes to a brazed portion from the entrance side of the turbine wheel along a rear surface thereof, and suppress a reduction in the strength of the brazed portion due to a rise in the temperature of the brazed portion during running; also provided are a turbine housing (3) and a bearing housing (10). The turbo charger is characterized by being provided with the following: a back plate (11) arranged on the back surface side of the turbine wheel (5) along the back surface thereof so that a gap is maintained; a back plate fixing member (11a) formed at the outer perimeter of the back plate (11) and fixed to the joining section of the turbine housing (3) and the bearing housing (10); an opening (35) formed at the inner perimeter of the back plate (11) and into which a tubular flange (10b) is inserted so that a gap is maintained; and a throttle part (36) formed between the rear face of the turbine wheel (5) and a side face of the inner perimeter of the back plate (11), and for suppressing the flow rate of exhaust gas escaping from the entrance side of the turbine wheel (5) and along the rear face thereof to the brazed material joining section (B).</p>
