In a connector system for electrically connecting a hearing aid BTE device (1) with an earpiece (3, 4, 30), the wire (5) coming from the BTE device (1) is detacha bly connectable with the earpiece (3, 4, 30). The same connectors (2, 6, 40, 41) at both the wire (5) and the earpiece (3, 4, 30) can be used irrespective of which side of the users head, the hearing aid is to be used.
