The invention provides methods and a system for locating products or shops in a chosen location. One or more product categories are displayed on a display means, such as a computer or mobile phone screen. Interactive selection means, such as a 5 keyboard, are used to select one or more of the product categories to display a group of products or shops which are linked with the categories. After selection of one or more of the products or shops, the procedure may be repeated until selection of all desired products or shops is complete. Then a list (50) is generated of the selected products or shops, the list setting out the location of the selected products 1o or shops in a sequence according to location.
