The plurality of first electrodes is provided on the first substrate and arranged in a first direction, extending in a second direction. The second electrode is provided on the second substrate. The light shielding portion is configured to be provided at a position between the first substrate and the second substrate to overlap with the first electrodes when viewed from the third direction. The light shielding portion covers a less space than the first electrodes.
