The arrangement has a monitoring device (10) comprising a protective device (60) with a control valve (70) e.g. radio frequency diode (D1), connected in series with a direct current power source (65). The protective device is operated in a passage direction and conducts a current flow through the power source, if voltage at a divider terminal (X) exceeds a preset maximum value. The protective device is operated in a block direction and blocks the current flow through the power source, if the voltage of the power source is larger than the voltage at the divider terminal.
