The clip (30) has a key blade (14) selectively rotatable between a stowed position in which the key blade is within a fob body (12) and a deployed position in which the key blade extends away from the fob body. A neck (32) partially surrounds the key blade such that the neck prevents rotation of the transport clip relative to the key blade. An ear portion is configured to depress a latch button (18) of a key fob (10) to an unlocked position, where the unlocked position of the latch button allows free rotation of the key blade between the deployed position and the stowed position. An independent claim is also included for a key trailer arrangement.
