PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas delivery system and methods for delivering gas that include devices that are relatively easy to manipulate and operate, are quiet, and deliver gases with appropriate humidification at desired flow rates and pressures.SOLUTION: A method for delivering pressurized gas from a gas delivery device includes a step of pressurizing atmosphere gas using an impeller and a step of conducting the pressurized gas through a conduit, wherein the pressurizing step includes a step of detecting the position of the impeller over all the rotation of the impeller using a single sensor means and producing at least one signal to control the rotation of the impeller. The invention includes a method of operating a blower motor for a gas delivery device using a single Hall sensor. The gas delivery device can be arranged in a sound housing for dampening the sound of motor. The gas delivery device can include a valve chamber to allow the blower to rapidly change the gas pressure or flow rate. |
