PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rider characteristic determining device capable of determining characteristics of a rider maneuvering a saddle-ride type vehicle, and to provide a saddle-ride type vehicle having the same.SOLUTION: The characteristics of a rider are determined from turning movement of a saddle-ride type vehicle appearing as a result of a rider maneuvering the saddle-ride type vehicle, so that stable characteristic determination can be performed regardless of individual maneuvering and operation of the rider. Furthermore, the turning characteristics of the saddle-ride type vehicle can be appropriately evaluated because a turning performance score of the vehicle is calculated based on a vehicle state amount of at least one of a roll direction, a pitch direction, and a caster angle affecting a steering angle of the saddle-ride type vehicle. |
