<p>An engine automatic stop and restart control device is provided with a master cylinder pressure sensor (13) which detects the brake operation amount (master cylinder pressure) of a driver, an automatic stop and restart determination unit (10a) which, on the basis of the brake operation mount, determines whether to automatically stop and restart the engine (1), and an automatic stop and restart control unit (10b) which, on the basis of the result of the determination, automatically stops and restarts the engine (1). When the vehicle speed (VSP) has decreased to a very low vehicle speed region immediately before stop, the automatic stop and restart determination unit (10a) prohibits the determination as to whether to restart the engine (1) on the basis of the brake operation amount.</p> |
