<p>According to the present invention, when producing acrylic polymer particles by discharging a monomer composition from a microchannel into an aqueous medium as microdroplets to create an emulsion with the monomer composition being a dispersed phase thereof, and heating the emulsion to radically polymerize an acrylic monomer, the flow rate of a monomer composition is increased and the time for producing particles is extended to a longer period than before. When producing acrylic polymer particles by discharging a monomer composition from a microchannel into an aqueous medium as microdroplets to create an emulsion with the microdroplets of the monomer composition being a dispersed phase thereof, and heating the emulsion to radically polymerize an acrylic monomer, the monomer composition to be used is adjusted to exhibit a water solubility such that the amount of the monomer composition dissolving in an aqueous layer is 35 mass% or more, the aqueous layer being obtained by stirring and mixing a 1 mass% aqueous solution of sodium dodecyl sulfate and the monomer composition at 25°C and at a mass ratio of 1:1 and then subjecting the mixture to centrifugation at a speed of rotation of 1500 rpm for 10 minutes.</p> |
