<p>A hand sanitizer device for dispensing sanitizer material comprising: means for communicating across a data network; means for retaining a reservoir of sanitizer material; means for dispensing an adjustable amount of sanitizer material; and means for detecting when the amount of sanitizer material in the device is low; wherein the amount of sanitizer material dispensed by the means for dispensing may be adjusted remotely via the means for communicating across a data network.</p>
