SECTION STEEL SHAPE MEASURING SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system and method for measuring the form of section steel are provided to reduce mechanical measurement error suing laser sensor with a vision sensor which has an automatic point function. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring the form of section steel comprises a steel transfer roller unit (210) and a sensor system unit (220). The steel transfer roller unit horizontally presses and fixes steel (215), and measures a transfer length of the steel. The sensor system unit comprises a sensor unit (221) and a driving unit (222), and transmits each measurement of the section steel.
