SYSTEM FOR MANAGING HETEROGENEOUS SHIPBOARD NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A heterogeneous vessel network management system is provided to manage heterogeneous vessel networks with one integrated network by allocating a network interface to a vessel device connected to a plurality of switching devices according to a network characteristic and by configuring the vessel device in which the same network interface is allocated into one single network. CONSTITUTION: At least one switching device (110-130) having at least one network interface is connected with each other through a communication network. A central network management device (140) monitors and manages traffic between the switching devices. Each of the switching devices is connected to at least one vessel network including at least one vessel device and allocates a network interface to the each vessel device connected within the each vessel network.
