PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide treatment and/or prevention of auto-inflammatory syndromes, e.g., juvenile rheumatoid arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis syndrome.SOLUTION: There is disclosed a drug containing IL-1&bgr; binding molecules which comprise both heavy chain (VH) variable domain and light chain (VL) variable domain in which the IL-1&bgr; binding molecule comprises at least one antigen binding site comprising: an immunoglobulin heavy chain variable domain (VH) which comprises in sequence hypervariable regions CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, the CDR1 having the amino acid sequence Val-Tyr-Gly-Met-Asn, the CDR2 having the amino acid sequence lle-Ile-Trp-Tyr-Asp-Gly-Asp-Asn-GIn-Tyr-Tyr-Ala-Asp-Ser-Val-Lys-Gly, and the CDR3 having the amino acid sequence Asp-Leu-Arg-Thr-Gly-Pro. |
