PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a concrete box for radioactive waste capable of further improving the shield factor of radiation, improving both the product hardness and lightness in weight of, for example, a storage container of radioactive waste, and further reducing manufacturing cost of the storage container.SOLUTION: A formwork device 1 has a bottom formwork 2, side formworks 4 to be vertically rotatable, and a left-in-place material inside formwork 5 made of a radiation shielding member to be mounted on the bottom formwork, in which the inside formwork forms a box shape by a bottom wall 6 and side walls 7, vertical ribs 8 are provided outside the side walls, the inside formwork in a reversed state for tightly sealing a top surface opening part of the inside formwork is mounted on the bottom formwork, and the side formworks are closed to be a box shape. A concrete member is filled into gaps between the side formworks and the side walls of the inside formwork and on a bottom wall surface of the inside formwork, the side formworks are released to be removed after the concrete member is hardened, and the left-in-place material inside formwork is configured as a radiation shield promoting member. |
