PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device, a projection device, a projection method, and a program, capable of compensating aged deterioration of a plurality of light sources and an element or the like of a phosphor, and making color reproducibility and brightness of a projection image compatible for a long time.SOLUTION: A projection device comprises: a semiconductor laser 20 which emits blue (B) light; a color wheel (CW) 24 which generates blue (B) light of transmission light in time division from the blue light and green (G) light of reflection fluorescent light and a motor 25; an LED 21 which emits red (R) light; a light sensor LS which detects the light intensities of a plurality of colors from a light source unit 17; a projection light processing unit 31 and a CPU 32 which control the drive timing of the semiconductor laser 20 and LED 21 so that the B light, the G light, and the R light are cyclically generated, and adjust the emission states of the semiconductor laser 20 and the LED 21 on the basis of the detection results of the light sensor LS; input units (11, 12) which input image signals; and projection systems (13 to 16, 18, 19) which form and project a color light image corresponding to the image signal input by the input units (11, 12) using RGB light. |
