PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear cylinder separation device which enables a rear cylinder in the rear of a separated cylinder after recovery of a tunneling machine to be safely and efficiently recovered from a jacked pipe array in subaqueous jacking construction.SOLUTION: In a rear cylinder separation device for removing and recovering a rear cylinder 4, which configures a separated cylinder left on the front end side of an array of jacked pipes 11, from the array of the jacked pipes in a subaqueous jacking method, a plurality of expansion/contraction means 10 extended to a tip of the rear cylinder from a front end wall surface of the array of the jacked pipes are arranged at predetermined intervals in the rear cylinder in a circumferential direction of facing the front end wall surface of the array of the jacked pipes. |
