<p>In order to develop an organic EL device provided with a structure for feeding power to a novel organic EL element, unit organic EL elements are distributed in a planar manner on a flat, expansive substrate, and longitudinal organic EL element bands (16) and crosswise organic EL element bands (17) are provided. The longitudinal organic EL element bands (16) and crosswise organic EL element bands (17) have electroconductive pathways through which direct current passes in the lengthwise directions thereof, and the orientation of the lengthwise directions of the longitudinal organic EL element bands (16) and crosswise organic EL element bands (17) is different. The electroconductive pathways intersect at locations where the longitudinal organic EL element bands (16) and crosswise organic EL element bands (17) intersect.</p> |
