PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information related to an abnormal region caused by failure in an apparatus.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnosis apparatus 100 collects image data by performing prescribed imaging to a subject. The medical image diagnostic apparatus which collects the image data by performing prescribed imaging to the subject includes: an image data generation unit 9 for generating clinical diagnosis image data on the basis of imaged data obtained in a main imaging mode and generating failure diagnosis image data on the basis of imaged data obtained in a failure diagnosis mode; an abnormal region detection unit 11 for detecting an abnormal region caused by failure in the apparatus in the failure diagnosis image data by comparing the failure diagnosis image data with reference image data collected beforehand; a warning data generation unit 13 for generating warning data on the basis of a detection result of the abnormal region; and a display unit for displaying the clinical diagnosis image data to which the warning data are added.
